
First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 28 (women) and June 29 (men). The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.Īcademic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Woodard has a 3.791 GPA in Computer Science. During the outdoor track season, he took gold in the 3000S (10:02.04) while setting a PR at the Cougar Classic. He also finished with a career best time in the 10K (32:46.4) at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships. Woodard, a senior from Philo, Illinois, set a PR in the 8k (26:01.6) during the cross country season at the Bradley Pink Classic. Walters has a 3.915 GPA in Electrical Engineering.

He also had a career best time in the 3,000m (8:50.51) at the OVC Indoor Track and Field Championship. Walters, a junior from Edwardsville, Illinois, set a PR in the 10k at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships. Knapp has a 3.765 GPA in Biology Medical Science. He set a PR in the 400H with a 55.19 mark at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship. He finished third as a member of the 4x400m relay team (3:20.55) and second in the 400H (56.00).

Knapp, a junior from Wausau, Wisconsin, took the podium twice at the Cougar Classic. Hielkema has a 3.745 GPA in History Education. At the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, he placed ninth with a 32:50.31 mark.

Hielkema, a junior from Rockton, Illinois, set a PR at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships with a 32:05.4 mark.
